What You'll Experience
Captain Cullen will have you fishing at first light — when sea bass are most active and the Cape is at its most beautiful. You'll drift over rocky bottom, shipwrecks, and prime structure, working light jigs through the strike zone. Sea bass are aggressive, hard-fighting fish that absolutely love to eat, and on a good morning the action can be non-stop.
Black sea bass are also one of the finest eating fish in New England — firm, white, delicate fillets that are delicious any way you cook them. You'll have an excellent shot at going home with a bag full of them.
And here's what makes these trips extra special: if the crew limits out on sea bass, Captain Cullen doesn't call it a day. He fires up the engines and takes you striper fishing. Two species, one trip, four hours — it's as good as it gets.
