What You'll Experience
Captain Mike will take you out onto Cape Cod Bay to fish some of the most productive winter flounder grounds on the East Coast. While great flounder fishing has dried up in traditional hotspots like Quincy, New Jersey, and New York, Cape Cod Bay remains a thriving flounder paradise—and Mike knows every inch of it.
Flounder fishing is all about feel and finesse. You'll drift over prime bottom using light tackle rigged with clam and mussel, waiting for that telltale tap. It's a patient, meditative style of fishing that's just as exciting for first-timers as it is for seasoned anglers. And when it's on, it's really on—these trips regularly limit out.
The afternoon is often just as productive as the morning, so whichever date you choose, you're in for a great day on the water.
Mike uses a bow-mounted spot-lock trolling motor to position perfect drifts with surgical precision—modern technology in the service of a classic Cape Cod tradition.
