What You'll Experience

Captain Cullen will take you to the most productive tautog structure in Cape Cod waters—rocky reefs, boulder fields, and channels where trophy blackfish congregate. These aren't your typical tautog trips. Spring tog fishing can be fast and furious, and you'll be targeting legitimate heavyweights, with real shots at 8+ pound brutes that will put your tackle to the test.

Spring tautog fishing is when these fish are most aggressive, moving into shallower structure to spawn and feed heavily after winter. The bite can be fast and furious when you're positioned on the right rocks.

You'll fish with specialized tautog jigs and live green crabs—one of the absolute best baits for triggering strikes from these structure-loving bruisers. Captain Cullen knows every productive rock pile and reef in these waters, and he'll work tirelessly to keep you on fish all day.

Tautog are considered by many to be the best-eating fish that swims. Their firm, white meat is absolutely delicious, and you'll have an excellent chance of going home with a cooler full of premium table fare.
