Striped bass are Cape Cod's most popular saltwater fish and for good reason. They get big, are often aggressive, and can be caught using various methods and techniques.
And fortunately for us, we have the captain and the boat to get us onto the bite quickly and consistently. From the Monomoy Rips to Cape Cod Bay, Provincetown to Cuttyhunk, we go wherever the fish are!
Those onboard this trip will fish with Capt. Tyler Putney of Flatliner Charters onboard Tyler's 28' Whitewater center console.
By simply joining any of our group trips you are going to see firsthand how it's done, which can literally save you years of trial and error, compared to figuring it all out on your own. In addition, you'll meet some awesome fellow anglers!
During this trip you may fish for stripers in the rips of Monomoy, Vineyard or Nantucket Sound. You may also live-line pogies or mackerel in Cape Cod Bay or Buzzard's Bay, or toss plugs into topwater blitzes. It all depends on where the best fishing is taking place.
When fishing for stripers captain Tyler prefers to give everyone their own rod and reel. Casting lures is a preferred method whenever possible, followed by live bait fishing.
"It was a wonderful trip with Tyler. Met 2 other MFCC members and topped my previous personal best 2 times with the largest measuring 38”. Great day." - Howard Hausman
"Tyler is a great captain and I'd go out with him again in a flash. We had a great trip yesterday and were in stripers for 3 straight hours. I got around 14 into the boat, mostly 28-30 inch range. I think I was the "low person" in the boat, because we must have had around 80. Three of us were on at same time. It was my best striper trip ever!" - Tom Hollis
