Whether you're targeting school tuna or hunting giants, this session lays the foundation for success. Phil's presentation will cover the basic essentials every angler needs before tackling more advanced techniques.

Topics include:
• 2026 rules and regulations
• Reading conditions and locating fish
• Effective trolling spread setup for different scenarios

Session 2: Techniques and Tactics Across Multiple Fisheries
Captain Cullen Lundholm - Cape Star Charters

This is an interactive deep dive into how Cullen thinks and makes decisions on the water. You'll learn his complete decision-making process—from what he's thinking the night before a trip to how he reads subtle changes in wind, tide, and current to adjust strategy in real-time. Cullen will break down when to stay put versus when to move, how he searches for fish across different grounds, and his approach to targeting recreational-size bluefin (though we'll cover giants too if attendees want). This session will teach you to think like a professional captain.

Topics include:
Pre-trip planning and morning decision-making
Reading wind, tide, and current changes to adjust strategy
Search patterns and when to commit versus when to move
Strategic approaches for Stellwagen, Provincetown, East of the Cape, and Cape Cod Bay

---

Session 3: Advanced Strategies South of the Islands and Beyond
Captain Willy Hatch - Machaca Charters

Willy breaks down how he approaches the waters south of Martha's Vineyard—a unique fishery that can produce bluefin, yellowfin, mahi, and even white marlin. You'll learn how he reads water temperature breaks, decides when to stay versus when to move, and recognizes the small details that separate good days from great ones. Willy will share what he's looking for when searching productive areas, how he makes real-time decisions on the water, and how to manage the chaos when multiple rods go off simultaneously.

Topics include:
• Reading water temperature breaks and deciding when to stay or move
• The intricacies of this unique multi-species fishery
• Search patterns and real-time decision-making
• Managing multiple hookups simultaneously
• Recognizing patterns in fish behavior and conditions

---

Session 4: Understanding Bluefin Biology to Become a Better Angler
Captain Tyler Macallister - F/V Cynthia C2 and Off the Charts Sportfishing

Tyler brings his marine biology degree and decades of experience together in a presentation that will change how you think about tuna fishing. You'll learn how bluefin behavior, feeding patterns, and biology directly influence your fishing strategies—knowledge that turns guesswork into informed decisions.

Topics include:
• How bluefin biology affects behavior and feeding
• Understanding migration patterns and seasonal movements
• Using environmental factors to predict fish location
• Connecting scientific knowledge to practical fishing success

What You'll Experience

Live Interactive Learning
Every session includes Q&A time where captains address participant questions. Submit your questions in advance, and captains will cover the most relevant ones that benefit the group. This isn't watching a video—it's real-time learning where captains respond to actual challenges anglers are facing on Cape Cod waters.

Two Months of Recording Access
Can't make a live session? Every session is recorded. Review techniques before the season, refresh specific tactics, or watch sessions you missed—you'll have 2 months of access.

Structured Networking
After each session ends, we'll dedicate additional time to help attendees connect with other serious tuna anglers in breakout groups. This optional experience will help you find crew, build your fishing network, and connect with anglers in your region. These connections often prove as valuable as the instruction.

Four Expert Perspectives
Phil covers the fundamentals. Cullen teaches you how to think and make decisions like a professional captain. Willy breaks down the unique waters south of the Vineyard. Tyler provides the biological understanding of why tuna do what they do. Together, they give you a complete tuna fishing education.

Your Questions Get Answered
Before the series starts, we'll survey all registrants to find out what specific topics you want covered. The captains will adapt their presentations based on what you want to learn most. The most relevant and beneficial questions will be addressed live.
