2025 Season Kickoff

Get ready for an action packed morning of fishing education and networking! 

The My Fishing Cape Cod Season Kickoff, presented by Cape & Islands Mitsubishi, will take place on Saturday March 29th and will feature professional charter captains, surfcasting experts, and a selection of local vendors.

Attending the kickoff will be a great way to meet people from My Fishing Cape Cod and improve your angling skills all at the same time. 100% of profits generated from the event will go to local organizations that support our veterans, and it will be a great opportunity to build community with all different levels of anglers.

Place: The Hyport Conference Center, Hyannis, MA
Beneficiary: 100% of profits from the event will be donated to local organizations that are helping veterans - the Cape & Islands Veterans Outreach Center and Fishing for the Mission 22.

During the Season Kickoff you will learn from some of Cape Cod's most experienced charter captains and local anglers. Subjects covered in our panel-style discussion will include various types of fishing, with a focus on stripers and tuna. This will be an amazing opportunity to network and access information you can't get anywhere else.

Last year we had over 200 anglers attend. We raised $4,000 and we plan to surpass that amount in 2025.  This will be a wonderful opportunity to do something good for our local veteran community, while having a great time talking fishing.
