Captain Phil Howarth is one of the most knowledgeable anglers on Cape Cod when it comes to tuna fishing tackle and equipment. As co-owner of the Goose Hummock — the Cape's legendary tackle and outdoor shop — Phil has spent years helping serious anglers get properly equipped for the fisheries that matter most around here.

This is your chance to sit down with him one-on-one.

How It Works

Reserve your time slot for $100. That $100 is applied in full toward your purchases at Goose Hummock during your session — so you're not paying for Phil's time so much as you're committing to showing up and investing that money into gear you need.

As a Tuna Zoominar registrant, you'll also receive 10% off your entire Goose Hummock purchase during your session.

During your hour long session with Phil, he'll walk you through exactly what you need based on how and where you fish. Rods, reels, line, leaders, lures, rigging — whatever gaps exist in your setup, Phil will identify them and point you in the right direction. He's happy to keep going if you need more time.

You'll leave with a clear game plan and the right gear to execute it.

Sessions take place at Goose Hummock Shop in Orleans on:
